And while there is just no spare minute to write it, it's still in my head, making me aware it IS going to be penned, one of these days.

And while I'd hate to even consider committing myself to yet one more book this year...

There is always December.

and if I wrote this then, I could skip January, when Thea's home, then write in February, then April...

Hmm... Well, we'll just have to see about that...

on hiatus

Well, this story was going to be for November, my 2009's NANO entry. But The Thorn and the Rose spilled into an extra piece, and the end of that trilogy will instead be NANO's offering.

Poor Marissa and Dominick! Will they ever get their story told???

Inquiring minds will just have to be patient. I have NO IDEA when this novel will be written...

pounding it out

I know the story, but the HOW it's told is changing. For the better....

Going to start when Marissa returns, then spend the first part telling why she left.

At least that's how it looks right now.

Maybe in a day or two I'll list the tunes. Many of them, a lot to type.

For another day. But, things are coming along...

getting a clue

changed the ending entirely, all still in my head, but I'm getting a feeling for this story.

can't tell if it will be long or short. only during the writing will that come forth.

looking at November for this one, NANO '09...

yeah, probably...

finally...

I came up with a title. this poor story, only a few days going, has been through more title changes than any I've had...

but the gist has been settled for over a week. Dominick and Marissa, Lois, Michael, Lizzie and Luisa...

I did change the timing, set it back about a decade, and just last night realized letters that will be exchanged in the beginning will turn to emails later on. duh!!

but it will make for easier communication between Dominick and Marissa. at least there's that, and letters will still be coming when they meet.

and just now came the end song (always the tunes, no?), which sets it all...

now, just waiting for November. NANO 2009, this is for you...
